Pearlescent Pigments
Comet Chemical Pearl Mica Pigments are premium-quality pearlescent powders designed to create vibrant metallic and shimmering effects in a wide range of creative and professional applications. Made from fine mica particles coated with titanium dioxide, these pigments provide excellent color sensitivity and brilliance while remaining stable in resins, varnishes, and other transparent bases.
When mixed into clear materials such as epoxy casting resins, solvent acrylic, polyurethane, cellulosic, water-based acrylic varnishes, or adhesives, they produce luminous metallic colors with depth and sparkle. Because the effect relies on light reflection, pearl pigments must be used in transparent bases to achieve their true color and cannot be used in opaque paints. These pigments are color-stable, meaning they do not darken, fade, or change color over time, ensuring long-lasting results in both decorative and artistic projects.
